"Our seven-year-old daughter, Katie, has always loved animals...even has aspirations to be a vet...(our fingers are crossed) -- but her love for furry creatures was reaffirmed in no uncertain terms during our recent incredible and relaxing sojourn to Steinhatchee Landing -- Katie began and ended each of our three days with a visit to/with her three friends -- she named the donkeys, "Chocolate" and Butterscotch" and renamed the horse, Rex, to "Jose." By the end of our visit, Katie had "served" them three, one-pound bags of carrots and a 10-pound bag of organic apples! A vertiable equine love feast and a lifetime of wonderful memories were made for our family at Steinhatchee Landing...and we hope for the animals too!

"We've returned again and again to your lovely resort. The surrounding area is truly as I remember Old Florida to be when I was a child. We've stayed in the honeymoon cottages all the way up to the larger homes and many in between those sizes. We have loved them all! Each with their own individual charm. For a quick weekend away, my husband and I love the honeymoon cottages. It takes us away from the hustle and bustle of life and brings us into a world perfectly balanced with sheer luxury and the best natural surroundings that modern.....Old Florida has to offer. We love it. When we want nothing to do but sit and watch the world from our front porch, we go to Steinhatchee Landing Resort. We love the Drive to Keaton Beach just for the sunset. Fishing and scalloping are a must. We charter for fishing and rent a boat there for scalloping. No complications. Roy's Restaurant is great. We had our family reunion with you last year and already have reservations with you this year for scalloping. Steinhatchee Landing Resort will see us at least three times a year and more if we can swing it. We love you Steinhatchee Landing Resort!"
